I'm Kim, the owner and founder of Notch + Mill, and a Certified Trichologist dedicated to helping clients understand and restore the connection between scalp health, confidence, and overall well-being.
My background began in traditional salon work — precision cuts, dimensional color, and creative transformations. But as my clients’ needs evolved, I realized many of their challenges went deeper than style alone.
I pursued advanced education in Trichology, the science of the scalp and hair, to bridge that gap — merging artistry with biology to deliver care that’s both beautiful and intentional.
The Growth of Notch + Mill
Notch + Mill began as a single-stylist studio — a creative space rooted in craft and connection.Over time, it grew into something much greater: a full-service salon and head spa where science, serenity, and style coexist.
The salon recently underwent a complete expansion and reconstruction, evolving into an earthy yet modern sanctuary designed to reflect the same balance we cultivate within every client — calm and transformation, artistry and expertise, scalp and soul.
